Itinerary: New York > Blanes, Spain (Barcelona) > Zeist, Netherlands (Amsterdam) > Verbier, Switzerland (Swiss Alps) > Geneva > New York
Looking for a teen tennis trip to Europe? Every year, families ask us which trip we'd pick if we could only go on one. The answer is usually the same: Signature Summer. It's our most popular trip for a reason. Three weeks, three countries, real tournaments on red clay, and a group of players from all over, most of whom start as strangers at the airport and come home a few weeks later as lifelong friends. If you've been wondering what summer tennis in Europe actually feels like, this is the trip that shows you.
Apply for Signature Summer 2027
Week one: Blanes and the Costa Brava

We fly into Barcelona and head up the coast to Blanes, a seaside town on the Costa Brava that we've come to think of as one of our summer home. Our host club welcomes us back every year, and it doesn't take long for our players to start connecting with the local juniors, whether that's on the court, in a pickup soccer game, or hanging out at the club pool after practice.
One of the highlights every year is our Friday night tennis party, when our group and a bunch of local players from the club spend the evening at the courts. It usually starts as a doubles round robin but then turns into a night of soccer, swimming, dinner, and hanging out with our new Spanish friends. It's always an awesome way to cap off the week!
The week is built around daily training and an official tournament, so players get real matches right away. Our hotel is right next to the beach, about five minutes from the club, which makes it easy to bounce between the courts and the Mediterranean. Before we leave Spain, we spend a day in Barcelona to see La Sagrada Familia and stroll down Las Ramblas, the main walking street in the heart of the city.
Week two: The Shot tournament in Zeist

From Spain, we fly to the Netherlands and settle into the town of Zeist, home of the Shot Zeist tennis club. This tournament is an Atlas favorite, and our players always seem to agree. The draws are organized by level, so whether your player is just getting into tournaments or already has a strong UTR, they'll get competitive matches all week.
Off the court, the Dutch are some of the friendliest people you'll meet, and the club is one of the nicest, most scenic places you can imagine, nestled in a forested area for a serene setting with flawless red clay courts and kind, welcoming locals. Think of it as a big tournament with the vibe of an overnight tennis camp mixed in. We'll also make time to explore the canals and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and the beautiful old town of Utrecht.
Week three: The Swiss Alps and the ATP Swiss Open

We finish the summer in the mountains. Players train on clay in the mountain town of Verbier, we take day trips to alpine towns like Chamonix, and yes, we go swimming in alpine lakes and stunning Lake Geneva. Honestly, it's hard to find a more beautiful place to play tennis.
The highlight for a lot of players is our day at the ATP Swiss Open in Gstaad. It's a small ATP 250, which means you can get closer to the pros than almost anywhere else. Past groups have gotten to meet and take photos with Casper Ruud and Matteo Berrettini, and watched Stan Wawrinka and Alexander Bublik up close.
Thanks to the connections Atlas has in the pro tennis world, we're able to connect with top players who will often spend some time with us and actually chat a bit, not just taking a quick photo. One of the coolest things is that these top pros are actually pretty interested to hear about what the trip has been like, as it's rare for them to see a group of mostly Americans at a small European tournament. Last year, Casper Ruud was laughing as most of our players told him that they weren't quite as comfortable on the red clay yet as he was!
Who this teen tennis trip to Europe is for
Signature Summer is for players ages 14 to 18 who have at least some competitive experience, either from tournaments or school tennis. We've had players with a UTR 10 and players with a UTR 2 on the same trip, and everyone gets close matches because of how the draws are set up. We also organize the trip so that everyone always has players at their level to train with—this is a top priority for us, and we know it is for our players as well! If you're not sure whether your player is a fit, just reach out and we're happy to talk it through.
We keep the group small, usually no more than 16 players, and our coaches are mainly current or former college coaches or players. There's always at least one male and one female coach with the group, around the clock.

What's included
Our 2027 teen tennis trip to Europe is $10,499, though that price may go up once we get closer to departure time. That covers accommodations, transportation within Europe (including flights), court and tournament fees, coaching, breakfasts and dinners, sightseeing, and 24/7 supervision. Flights to and from Europe aren't included, along with lunch, laundry, and any souvenirs.
Our team flight leaves from New York with Atlas coaches on board, but players are also welcome to meet us in Europe. We fly into Barcelona and home from Geneva, though some players end up staying in Europe even after the trip!
