Searching for summer tennis jobs where you’ll have the chance to grow as a person, while also help shape a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young players?

Summer tennis travel in Switzerland

If you’re looking for summer tennis jobs, there are no shortage of opportunities. I’ve worked many of them, from summer camps to country clubs to academies—there are plenty of ways to earn some money on the tennis court. But what if you’re looking for a job that gives you the opportunity to grow as a coach and a leader, and not just feed balls all day? Maybe you are looking for a job in tennis that also provides the chance for you to explore new places, with all your expenses covered? Atlas Tennis might be the perfect fit!

We’re currently hiring for coaches for our summer 2025 trips—and while we call these positions “coaches,” the truth is that there is so much more than goes into being one of the leaders of our trips. All of the different components of working for Atlas Tennis can be intimidating, as this is not a summer tennis job that allows for you to just show up, go through the motions, and go home. But for those that buy in to our mission and want to be a part of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, there is absolutely no better way to spend a few weeks of your summer! Here are some of the reasons why!

1. Our coaches have the opportunity to truly change the lives of our players. Atlas Tennis was created because all of us as founders have had our lives positively impacted through tennis and travel. It’s core to our mission and we believe deeply in the power of these trips to help teenagers grow and prepare for the next phase of their lives. By traveling together, the relationships that can form between players, as well as between players and coaches, have the potential to be lifelong connections. The chance to have such a deep impact on young people is not for everyone, and is why our hiring process is so selective, but for the right person, it’s an incredible opportunity.summer tennis jobs coaching on red clay

2. You’ll get to travel to some of the world’s most incredible places. Yes, our coaches are working hard on the trips. And no, you don’t get to go off and explore on your own during the trips. But even still, by working for Atlas Tennis you’ll be going to some of the world’s great cities and visiting the most iconic sights. I can guarantee that every coach will have at least a few instances where they think to themselves, “I can’t believe I’m getting paid to do this!” What other summer tennis jobs pay you to go to Wimbledon and watch tennis at the cathedral of tennis?

3. The networking opportunities from Atlas Tennis are unparalleled. The founders of Atlas Tennis are among the most well connected people in the tennis world, and if you have aspirations for a career in the sport, regardless of the specific area, this is a group of people that can potentially open doors that can help you get a leg up in your career. Additionally, working as a coach for Atlas, you will be working directly with different coaches, clubs, agents, and other influential people in the tennis world throughout Europe.

4. Opportunities to Recruit Players. College coaches are often a great fit with Atlas Tennis, in part because traveling with us can be an incredible recruiting opportunity. Not only are many of the high school players on our trips potential college players themselves, but many of the players we’ll come across in Europe aspire to play college tennis in the US as well. Most college tennis programs don’t have the budget to take recruiting trips to Europe, but Atlas Tennis can unlock those opportunities for you.

5. All your expenses are covered for the entire trip. It’s a big commitment to work for Atlas Tennis, and we make sure that our staff essentially do not have any living expenses for the duration of the trip. That includes flights, meals, accommodations, transportation, all of the sightseeing we do as a group, and other necessities that may come up. You are working, but in return you are getting an all expenses paid trip through Europe (in addition to a salary)!Ella and Kinzee

6. The chance to get hands on experience with a tennis team. Even though our players don’t compete in team tournaments, we travel as a group and create a team-like atmosphere with an emphasis on supporting each other—quite similar to college tennis. For young or aspiring coaches, there is no better opportunity to get directly involved into what it’s like to manage a group of players. Speaking for myself, the first time I traveled around Europe with a group of players, it was an invaluable experience in my development as a coach!

7. Multiple ways to earn money. In addition to the entire trip being paid for, our coaches also receive a weekly salary. As I tell all applicants, we know that our salaries are lower than what you can probably make by working at a country club all summer, feeding balls for 10 hours a day. But when you factor in that you’ll have no living expenses for the duration of the trip, the disparity is much less than it might initially seem like. Furthermore, the life experience, networking, travel, and personal growth are completely incomparable to other summer tennis jobs. And with that said, on top of the weekly salary, we also offer coaches a significant added bonus for any players they refer to us that enroll on a trip. (By the way, if you’ve made it this far, I know you’re wondering what the $ amounts look like. Our weekly salaries range between $600 – $1200/week based on a number of factors, and we offer an additional $750 – $1000 for each referred player.)

8. By working with Atlas Tennis as we continue to grow, the future opportunities are substantial. As we continue to expand and try to offer more opportunities and more trips to more players, we’re going to need more staff! A successful summer in 2025 will pave the way to additional jobs with us in more expansive, longer term, entrepreneurial roles, and we’ll definitely want to stay connected with those that have already helped us as we grow. Summer tennis jobs with Atlas may be an excellent stepping stone towards future involvement in the business.
