The Castles to Coasts Trip
June 27 – July 19 (22 Days) 2026
Itinerary:
New York > Edinburgh, Scotland > Cap D’Agde, France > Portugal > New York
New for 2026, Atlas is thrilled to explore some new countries on our Castles to Coasts trip, giving our players the chance to experience some very different parts of Europe while competing in tournaments and training with top coaches.
The trip begins in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh, an incredible city that manages to be both rich in history while also youthful and full of energy. The famous Edinburgh Castle, standing since the 11th century, is just one of the attractions we’ll get to see that makes Scotland unique.
Our week in Scotland will be centered around competing at a large junior tournament on red clay in the nearby town of Bridge of Allan. The club is only a few minutes from Dunblane, the hometown of Andy Murray, and is where Murray would sometimes train as a junior.
We’ll stay near the club at the University of Stirling, giving us the chance to be a part of an awesome, walkable college town.
From Scotland, we’ll spend a day flying to the South of France, where we’ll get set for a week of training at the French Touch Academy, one of the best academies in France. It’s located minutes from the beach and has an incredible array of coaches and players with experience at all levels of the game. We will be in great hands for this week of training and competition with the players from the academy.
After an awesome week in France, we finish the trip in another new country for Atlas Tennis—Portugal! Portugal was one of the most requested new destinations, and we are excited to work with some former pro players from the country who will be hosting us for the week.
And to cap off the trip, we’ll have the chance to watch pro tennis at the ATP Tournament in Estoril, right outside of Lisbon. Fun fact: Eric Butorac, an Atlas co-owner, is a two-time doubles champion at the event!
