France has perhaps the best tournament structure in the world. Our new competition-focused itinerary is perfect for players who want to play a ton of matches and get immersed in French culture!

We begin with a few days in Paris, exploring the city and its iconic sites, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Seine River. Players will train on red clay at Cercle Athlétique de Montrouge, a local club pros practice at before Roland Garros.

After a few days in Paris, we will drive to the Atlantic Coast and the French department of Vendée, home to a number of summer tournaments perfect for players looking to play plenty of matches. For two weeks, our players will play between 5-6 tournaments, each with opportunities to face players at a similar level thanks to the French rating system, which is what UTR was based off of. On non-competition days, coaches will run training sessions at local clubs and offer mental preparation workshops.

Our players will be staying in a house with a lush outdoor area in the idyllic town of Commequiers, with other French junior players and coaches, adding to the cultural enrichment of the trip! Rooms will always be single gender, and adult chaperones will also be staying in the house. Breakfast and dinner are provided at the house, and lunch will either be at the house as well, or packed for players to bring with them to their various tournament sites.

Off the court, a range of activities are offered including outings to the beaches of Brétignolles or St Gilles, football, ultimate frisbee, and fireworks for Bastille Day on July 14th.

There will be two Atlas Tennis coaches joining the French coaching staff, which consists of former college and pro players. The staff provides 24/7 supervision of players and will drive the players to and from their tournaments in vans.

This trip will run in partnership with some of the top tennis coaches in France, led by Anna Savitskaya, Director at the Tennis Club of Lyon, who has been organizing this summer circuit for many years.
